Retrospective bans for diving.....

    It's rare we agree @Big Papi but damn right. More retrospective bans, and longer bans for repeat offenders will help to cut it down. Players at every team do it and in the past, no one seemed fussed about sorting it out.

    They're doing it because they get away with it. Winning is nearly everything, but playing is more. It's not like their rights are being impinged. Ban them for 5 games, first offence...10 games, second offence. It is the greatest cancer in the game. Even doping is less so, as there are ramifications for the health of the player. With diving, there are no real downsides, barring an odd yellow card. You should be able to cite players for diving and regardless of the referee's carding of the player or not, the player should be dealt with separately.
