    Short, selective memory.
He’s got more points than Klopp had this time last year.

I see that Pogba is our Messi! What a load of bullshit!
Pogba hasn't had one great game for United since he came back, Cristiano and Messi would of played outta their skins for the club in that amount of time if they were at Old Trafford.
Pogba will go down in United history as one of our biggest transfer flops.

Mourinho is back! The pomp, the cockiness, the antagonist, the siege mentality.
He lost the team, absolutely no doubt about it, but he’s done something not many managers and certainly he, has ever done before. He’s got it back and it’s shoved the media’s agenda right back up their own arse.

    BT sports last night.
Juventus are probably the best team in Europe and United may well be totally out of their depth. They always start slowly and could be out of the game quickly if that doesn’t change.
Half time - United had been at it, purposeful in attack, quick in the flanks and great interchanges. Arguably the best team in the half.
BT sport - Juventus haven’t really turned up but have had the better of the half, United need to step it up to stay in the game.
Reality - we had a ten minute period of pressure where Juve showed exactly why they’re touted as the best in Europe, they were fantastic.

After the break the Juve pressure continued and United struggled to get out, but still carried bits of threat and the character to hang in was obvious. Boom Ronaldo finishes wickedly from a sublime and inch perfect ball from Bonucci... game over! Was the cry from BT sports. Quick substitution from Mourinho instantly changed our threat, Rashford came in and instantly upped the pace of our attacks and it set Allegri and Juves ageing defence on edge.
Next came the game changer, Mata and Fellaini came in and within minutes Allegri had shit himself. He introduced a 86 year old and went to a back 3 as Fellaini was making a normal nuisance of his big self. Mata was also busy and his free kick set in motion what was looming from the get go. We set up well, we played well, the substitutions were brilliant and game changing.

BT sport would later claim that Juve maybe aren’t all that good and their keeper just isn’t good enough for a CL too team (incidentally it was Paul Scholes who was party to this agenda).

    Today’s media.
United were shit for 85 minutes then popped up and flukes a late win.

Yea, yea, it’s what we do you utter cunts.

    Mourinho in

He’s becoming the manager we need and the manager we thought we were getting is evolving his style to the club.
The media agenda and sniping attacks prove that United are still the main club in Britain.

You lot are absolute shite, but I can't shake this feeling that you're going to win the champions league.

Is he? You're in 8th, having been just bent over by City. You've got a fair number of fluky late wins recently, but you're hardly performing well.

    Yes.
It may well be classed as fluke if it was just “recently” but the late wins are consistent. We’ve been at it for over a season now. Spurs, Arsenal, City and we’re still at it. Juve in Turin being the pinnacle of our late wins.

City blew us away today but it was hardly unexpected, Pogba out and fucking Fellaini in. Duh! Of course we’re gonna get overrun.
We’re hanging in and oddly are the most exciting team in the league, you just don’t know what to expect.
Slow starters, then we start quickly in Turin. Poor attitude, then we fight.
Predictable in attack and then we become dynamic.

We won’t win the CL so I wouldn’t start shitting yourself just yet... unless we sign a big cunt of a center half in January and we somehow see sense and rest fucking Matic, he just looks broken.

Let's not act as if City weren't missing their best player too. You can say Pogba, but they were missing De Bruyne, a significantly better player.

I don't know who would call you the most exciting team in the league. Most unpredictable, maybe, but most exciting? Absolutely not. That'd be like claiming Liverpool were the most exciting team in the league most years prior to Klopp because we could get results some weeks and other weeks we'd be shit. That's not being exciting, that's being average.

We've seen shite teams win the champions league before (us being one of them), so I'm ruling nothing out.

Tried to tell you until I was blue in the face that you were average but you wouldn’t have it. Rafa was the best thing since sliced bread according to you, and now you can just look at Newcastle.
We’re not average, we’ve one of the best squads in the league (it’s better than yours) and you’re on for the league
We are the best watch in the league, you just don’t know what’s going to happen. Even today there were periods where you were there chomping at the bit for us to find that equaliser. Against a slightly more average team (like you) we would have got it. City just did at 2-1 what you would expect a billion pounds worth of team to do.

Ehh? I obviously don't mean every fucking manager prior to Klopp otherwise I'd be saying that about the likes of Shankly, Paisley, Fagan, and Dalglish. Rafa was a very good manager for us and he's not doing a bad job with Newcastle either.

One of the best squads in the league? Based on what?

No you aren't. I'd rather watch City play unbelievable football this year or us play football last year than anything you've served up ever under Mourinho. Being shit while playing shit football is not entertaining. I like how you bring up what City spend on players while ignoring what your team has spent on players. You both spend a shit tonne of money on players - it just happens that one manager and club does it a hell of a lot better than the other.

You’ve said that you’ve “seen shit teams win the champions league (us being one of them). That shit team you were referring to was Rafas, or was it the previous managers tripe? You said it clownarse.
Whether you like it or not United entertaining, nobody is arsed what City are doing to be honest, the entire focus is United. You don’t know what’s going to happen with them, expect them to turn up and be shit and they aren’t and vice versa.

Mourinho is making mistakes and they’re coming through his overpowering urge to plug holes with big lumbering goons rather than use his attacking talent to paper over the cracks.
In the derby he put Fellaini in rather than Mata or Fred and played Matic who is shockingly out of touch, leaving us with a 3 that wouldn’t be able to retain possession against the City press and even if it could it had nobody to link back to front. It was an extremely poor decision, made poorer by him coming out after the game and telling us that Fellaini wasn’t even fucking fit.
City’s spending is a huge factor, it’s a huge factor in football. Pep can’t fail, and if he is he just gets different players in. He’s bought goalkeepers, didn’t work, bought another one. Bought center half’s, didn’t work, bought more. You don’t get that luxury at many clubs and Guardiola for all his touted talent hasn’t really been given an option for failure has he.
Klopp, well do it differently. Wank
Klopp outspends the entire league (Guardiola aside). 2nd place.
    Do you see a pattern?

Yes. That 04/05 team was poor. Still won a champions league though. And you completely discredited the teams that came after that under Rafa.

Sure, people are entertained by how shit you are. That's all off the pitch stuff though. The same way people were entertained during the Moyes season. No one is entertained when they're actually watching you play because you play shit on a stick football. You do generally know what's going to happen. You turn up, play shit football, and are hit or miss in terms of results.

You're right, because Mourinho hasn't spent a shit load of money.

Mourinho has spent more than Klopp since Mourinho joined United. Klopp's set to finish above Mourinho 2/3 of those seasons and in the one where Klopp didn't finish above him, the difference was literally one result and Klopp rested players multiple times in pursuit of success in the champions league.

Yea, and yet Heinz Von Trophy Dodger has won absolutely nothing for all of the spending that he claimed he didn’t need. The finished above United twice trophy might be massive in Liverpool but over here, we’re just not arsed.

Rafa was/is always will be a wank manager, turgid stale football that rarely wins his teams a damn thing.
Newcastle have 9 points from a possible 36, they’re fucking wank. Even we can do them from a two goal lead.
He took a shot team (that should have gone out in the group stages) and flukes it all the way to a CL final. You were then absolutely destroyed by football in the first half and scraped back into it as Milan went to sleep.
You’re blinkered by the fact that he gave you the highlight of 3 decades of football by winning the CL final on pens.

You have proven a point that you’ve already denied though. That’s the quality in the Unites squad. There’s been a lot of money spent on it and it’s left us with a very good set of forwards. The midfield isn’t too shabby either. Our defence is a big issue with Mike Smalling and Lindeloff as seemingly our best CD partners you know you’re in trouble. Young is nearly older than me yet starts every week.

Mourinho has lost the players with what seemed nothing short of an attempt to get sacked. He’s since looked like clawing it back when the £20m compo didn’t arrive. Playing with quicker less static forwards saw us finding a system, he was also forced into playing a more dynamic midfield with the introduction of players who could play football, yet he reverted to type on Sunday playing the big daft cunt in an attempt to stop football being played.
Concerned that the recent good play from us, Chelsea, Juventus and the excellent comebacks have been more a product of injuries rather than adapting to a system that suits the playing staff.

It’s not difficult to see the issue with United, it’s just a shame the manager can’t see the wood for the trees.

His track record with Valencia, Liverpool, and Chelsea all says differently, but okay. He also was never given a chance at Madrid. At Newcastle it's unrealistic to expect him to win anything.

Yeah, they're a poor team who have been underinvested in. Rafa is getting more out of them than any other manager Newcastle would be able to attract though. There's a reason their supporters adore him.

Nope. Even excluding the 04/05 season, he produced very good sides for us that were regularly in the latter stages in the champions league. The 08/09 side is probably the strongest Liverpool side of the premier league era too.

I haven't though. I've said you've spent money, that doesn't mean you've spent it well. There's very little quality in United's squad. There's Pogba who is hit or miss under Mourinho and there's De Gea who's not been anywhere close to his best for the past 7 months. Your forwards have scored less goals than ours and the media have loved ripping into our forwards at every possible opportunity this season. Your forwards are arguably your biggest problem IMO. Other than Martial, you've got very ineffective forwards. Lukaku is hit or miss, Rashford is usually wank, and Sanchez has turned into a different player since signing with you. Lingard had a great spell last season, but in recent months has done nothing, Mata has been past it for years. I think your midfield is good, aye, as is De Gea.

You're calling Juventus a good performance? Come off it.

Can whoever was pretending to be gav, come back please, so we can talk about Roy Keane quitting Ireland after failing to win a competitive match all year? Am interested in his take on whether the results are irrelevant for your future manager.

Yes, it's slow news week due to internationals, so right now I'd take gav back.

This post looks even more stupid than it did at the time.

16 points ahead of you lot gas. I'm waiting for this miraculous turnaround from you lot... I mean, fuck me, you're in fucking 8th and and there's an 8 point gap between you and 5th place Arsenal.
