What a player. He's a United player in every way. Just fantastic on the pitch, improving every single season, strong and dependable at the back, hard working and effective, creative, and potent up front. One of the top fullbacks in world football now, no exaggeration. I love raf, but this is the only defensive player in the league we should be targeting.
So for all their Bullishness, all the talk of a title charge and all the talk of this going to be their best season in years, Liverpool will still remain potless at the end of the season, unless you count the 'Finishing above United' Trophy which TBF is the biggest one they have won in over twenty years if going by how much their fans are talking about it. Discuss.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-26129394 Manchester United has frozen season ticket prices for 2014/2015. The club's current season-ticket holders can now renew online for next season. For a full adult ticket, prices range from £532 to £950. The club recently dropped out of the top three in the Deloitte football rich list for the first time. Despite generating a 7% increase in revenue last year, to 423.8m euros (£363m), Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich all made more. Dan Jones, a partner in Deloitte's sports business group, said: "Match-day revenues - of which season ticket sales are the biggest component - have actually been pretty flat across the Premier League. "For the 2008-09 season, they were £573m and for 2013-14, it's estimated at £580m. "In real terms that's a fall. The rapid growth in revenues for the clubs have come from broadcast rights and commercial deals." Manchester United, owned by the US-based Glazer family, will report second-quarter earnings on Wednesday. They face Arsenal at Emirates Stadium that evening.
Once Fergie(the cat) left, the mice(other clubs) started causing trouble. You have to admit it is one heck of a season with turns at every corner at the top and also at the botom. When was the last exciting season overall? If our team or manager would have gotten slight better results, the season would have been even better. To achieve at least level points with Spurs or Pool and be in the race for top 4 or slim the title.
